The Inaugural Post

I figured I should let you people know who you're dealing with, so here's a little "about me" blog to introduce myself.

I'm a redhead from the Midwest. What more do you need to know? Okay, fine, I'm a 20-something from Iowa and I work in the computer industry. Don't assume you can fit me into a nice little definition based on my location and profession, however. I'm about as random as they come and this blog is sure to reflect that.

My interests range from yoga to computers and everything in between. Bear with me, I tend to go off on little tangents but, trust me, I circle back eventually!

Given that I live in the political buffet of the U.S. at the moment I'm sure to have more than a few posts about my political thoughts and observations. I'm a liberal and proud of it, but I'm also open minded enough to listen to other people's opinions and take them into consideration. While I am opinionated I'm not some crazy zealot, but like any politically active person I do have my moments! If you decide to comment on my posts please keep it civil! There's nothing I hate more than the politics of politics. By that I mean the schoolyard style mudslinging and name calling that seems to be so deeply ingrained in politics that I often feel like I'm watching a junior high fight. Let's keep it mature and respectful, folks!

So, other than where I live and a couple ideas about what to expect from my posts what would you guys like to know?
